Meet Sweet Diva Claudia McLain
Claudia also hosts several LIVE events as the "First Lady of DPTV Networks". Recent DPTV events include Puccini Opera, International Puerto Rican Heritage Film Festival and the 2012 Action Magazine Martial Arts Film Festival, with celebrities such as Phil Morris, Sifu-Healer Cary Tagawa, "The Karate Kid's" Martin Kove, "Blonde Fury's" Cynthia Rothrock, and "SPAWN'S" Michael Jai White.
Claudia is currently featured as Shimmer Woman, "Agent Franz" in the new web series, DOMINION, and a supporting character in 4 other 2011 Independent feature films, along with on-going theater work and dance performances, such as the 2011 Michael Bublé Christmas Special, and also commercial modeling. Claudia McLain was interviewed by Ms. Candace Chambers-Belida and a special guest on the LA-based blogtalkradio show, LOVEALICIOUS in May 2011, upon returning from Halle Berry's Celebrity Golf Classic supporting JENESSE.ORG, in April '11.
Recent theater work includes returning to the brand new cast of "LOVE'S GONNA GET YOU!" for the 3rd season in a row, previously as "Jessie Long" and currently as The Diva, "Nikki Pearson". Claudia McLain was also chosen to be the NEW Ring Fever's, "The SWEET Fiva Diva", where her most current pictures, blogs, and vlogs are feature. Claudia McLain also starred as "Miss Laveer Swan" aka "Lavy" in the Audelco Award Winning stageplay, LONG TIME SINCE YESTERDAY.
For Halloween '10, Claudia McLain performed in Sleepy Hollow's, HORSEMAN'S HOLLOW HAUNTED TRAIL as "Vampiress Ophelia", which has had Sold Out shows and has received several press reviews, including the NY Times. Claudia McLain is honored to be returning to Historic Hudson Valley for the Fourth of July weekend show, PIRATES OF THE HUDSON.
Claudia McLain recently had her national television debut, while honoring her mom, on the Sundance Channel's, UNLEASHED BY GARO, which first aired during NYC Fashion Week, 2011. In 2012, Claudia will be starring as "Sweets" in A Shaheed Shaheed Film by CANEI Productions called, THE RED BOW TIE, with her first lead role in film.
Claudia is also versatile in her ability to work "behind the scenes" as needed. She was the casting director and assistant stage manager during the production of the classical play, DAY OF ABSENCE, through Revelations Performing Arts Center, which also aired on the NYC TV network station, BCAT, for 2 weeks straight after Black History Month in 2010. Claudia has also worked as Assistant Director, AD, and also Script Supervisor, on the set of Tony Clomax's webseries, 12-STEPS TO RECOVERY.
Anyone that has ever met Claudia McLain knows that she is very passionate about 3 things in life - her teaching career, her acting career, and her love for people.

Hello Ring Fever,
Here are some updates on the Sweet Diva: I was recently invited to a one-on-one workshop with commercial/film casting director Amy Gossels and she said I was "Confident and take direction well and delivers"...I recently shot a national walmart commercial, airing soon, I am now also represented by Abraham-Thomas & Associates, recently booked a national print ad (more details to follow)...and looking forward to more principal union work in 2012. Off to a great start, still seeking an exclusive agent! :)

Oh..also played comedic role (Nurse Nyfee) in a short film, EVOLUTION, now submitted to American Black Film Festival (ABFF) in Florida, in hopes of also being an HBO special.
Sweet Diva is also featured on Blue Bloods, Person of Interest, Royal Pains, and the standing tree pose yoga student on Ice Cubes show, "Are We There Yet?"
